In different industries, the product specifications of welded wire mesh vary to meet specific needs. Below are the most common uses:
● Construction Industry: Small-diameter welded wire mesh is primarily used for wall insulation and anti-cracking applications. It is applied on inner and outer walls during plastering and mesh hanging. Common mesh openings are 3/4 inch, 1 inch, and 2 inches. Inner wall insulation mesh uses a wire diameter of 0.3–0.5 mm, while outer wall insulation uses 0.5–0.7 mm.
● Breeding Industry: Used for enclosures for foxes, minks, chickens, ducks, rabbits, pigeons, and other poultry. Most commonly, a 2 mm wire diameter with a 1-inch mesh opening is selected. Custom specifications are available upon request.
● Agriculture: For crop storage, welded mesh is used to form circular enclosures—commonly called corn nets—which offer excellent ventilation and save floor space. A thicker wire diameter is typically used for durability.
● Industry: Applied for filtering and as isolation fencing in various industrial settings.
● Transportation Industry: Used for road and roadside construction, including PVC-impregnated welded wire mesh with accessories and welded wire mesh guardrails.
● Steel Structure Industry: Mainly used as a lining for thermal insulation cotton in roof insulation applications. Common mesh openings are 1 inch or 2 inches, with a wire diameter of about 1 mm and a width of 1.2–1.5 meters.
