Barbed wire is manufactured using three twisting techniques: positive twist, reverse twist, and alternating forward-reverse twist.
Positive Twist: Two or more wires are twisted into a double-strand cable, with barbs then wound around it.
Reverse Twist: Barbs are first wound onto a single main wire, which is then twisted with another wire to form a double strand.
Alternating Twist: The barb is wound around the main wire in alternating directions, creating varied barb orientation for enhanced deterrence.
